Soft washing is far more cost-effective and a great alternative than re-painting your home!

Soft washing is a cleaning method using low pressure and specialised solutions (typically bleach, water, and sometimes a surfactant) to safely remove mildew, bacteria, algae and other organic stains from your homes render.

The benefits:

• Better than hard power washing which can damage rendered walls.

• Soft washing kills organic materials at their core which causes the majority of staining that occurs.

• A longer lasting cleaning effect.

How it’s done:

• We first lightly spray a chemical solution directly to the render, that rapidly kills 95-100% of the algae, lichen, fungus and mould growth responsible for the coloured staining on the render.

• This is thoroughly rinsed, as is the surrounding area and will give the near-immediate cleaning effect many customers want.

• We apply a second solution and agitate the surface with a soft brush to remove more stubborn stains.

• Green stains will usually be gone within an hour, red stains will turn pink and disappear in 4-24 hours and black stains will normally disappear within two hours after a second treatment.
